Sarajevo/ Mostar/Neum/ Split/ Zagreb/ Ljubljana
Day 1: ARRIVE IN SARAJEVO
Arrive in Sarajevo. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Day 2: SARAJEVO
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Sarajevo city tour: Tunnel of Hope Museum. This Tunnel was the only way to go in and out of Sarajevo during the 1992-95 war siege of the city. We will continue to the Old Town to have a walking tour around Bas-Carsija, including the Latin Bridge, where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated which initiated the First World War, then Brusa Bezistan - the roofed market place, Ghazi Husrev-Bey Mosque built in 1530 during the Ottoman Empire, Ghazi Husrev-Bey Madrassa, Morica Han (Inn) built in 1551, and Vijecnica- the Town Hall ( outside view) built in the Austro-Hungarian Period.
Lunch in the local restaurant. Evening at leisure. Dinner.
Overnight in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Day 3: SARAJEVO – MOSTAR (130 km/ 2,5 hours)
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive to Mostar via Konjic. On arrival in Mostar, check in at the hotel. Later we will begin with the city tour and visit Karacfloz-Bey Mosque and Muslibegovic House and walk around the Old Town and Old Bridgebeing recognized as the UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Lunch in the local restaurant. Evening at leisure.
After dinner return to the hotel.
Overnight in Mostar, Bosnia.
Day 4: MOSTAR – DUBROVNIK – NEUM (180 KM/ 4 HOURS)
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Dubrovnik On arrival, we will have a city tourof this UNESCO-protected pearl of the Adriatic Coast which includes the Cathedral, Rector's Palace, Franciscan Monastery (including the Old Pharmacy), Clock Tower, Orlando's Columns and Sponze Palace. Lunch in the Old City (sea food). Prayer in the Masjid in the Old Town. Proceed to Neum. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Neum, Bosnia.
Day 5: NEUM – SPLIT (200 KM/3 HOURS)
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive to Split. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later have a walking tour around the historical city centre and see the remnants of the Diocletian's Palace, which is recognized as the UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Lunch in the local restaurant and you can enjoy your afternoon exploring the city on your own.
Overnight in Split, Croatia.
DAY 6: SPLIT – PLITVICE – ZAGREB (400 KM/ 5 HOURS)
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, proceed to the famous Plitvice National Park, another UNESCO world cultural heritage site in the Balkans. At Plitvice Lakes you will discover the breath-taking scenery of this natural wonder that includes 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thick forest and lush vegetation. We will have a guided walking tour around the lower lakes and afterwards a lunch in the local restaurant. After lunch proceed to Zagreb, on arrival check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Zagreb, Croatia.
DAY 7: ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA (140 KM/ 2, 5 HOURS)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board your flight to return home with happy memories.
After breakfast we will have a tour around Zagrebwith a local guide who will take us to the Kaptol and Gradec, Blood Bridge, Cathedral, the tallest building in Croatia, and the Ban Jelacic Square. After the tour we will have a lunch in the local restaurant and in the afternoon you will have your free time to explore the city on your own.
In the evening, proceed to Ljubljana. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Day 8: : LJUBLJANA – BLED – LJUBLJANA (60 KM/ 1 HOUR)
After breakfast in the hotel, proceed to Bled. Bled is a glacial lakeand major tourist attraction offering a wide range of sports activities in wonderful natural surroundings. We will have a lunch in the local restaurant before we proceed to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. Upon arrival in Ljubljanawe will have a tour around the city with a local guide. We will stroll through the Old Town, see the old and new markets and pass by the Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance buildings. We will see the famous Triple Bridge and finish the tour on the city square with its famous Baroque Robba Fountain.
Overnight in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Day 9: LJUBLJANA
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board your flight to return home with happy memories.
