Santiago/ Patagonia/ Atacama/ Wine Country
Day 1: Santiago
Arrive in Santiago. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon leave for city Tour. Santiago combines the urban and the classic, in both its architecture and atmosphere. This heritage comes to life through iconic city sights such as the Moneda Presidential Palace, designed by the Italian designer, Joaquin Toesca. From 1845 to 1930 the building actually served as a presidential residence. What were once grand living quarters are now the offices of Cabinet ministers. The Plaza de Armas is the city’s most famous square, surrounded by important and beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral and Central Post Office. A few blocks away you’ll find the Pre-Columbian Museum with over 700 exhibits of pre-hispanic artwork and relics from diverse cultures including the Mayans, Aztecs and the Mapuches - from the south of Chile. One of the most important parts of the city is San Cristobal Hill. The hill is recognised as one of the largest urban parks, topped by a stunning 72 foot tall statue of the Virgin Mary. This tour shows you the different contrasts of the city, taking you on a trip through the Santiago of yesteryear to the modern metropolis it is today.

Day 2: Santiago
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for full day tour of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. Along the central coast are two of Chile’s most important beachside cities: Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Wonder at colorful Valparaiso, now a mix of port university city. Famous for its stacked hills and winding stairs with incredible street art. This UNESCO site takes you back in time yet has a modern, forwardlooking feel. As you climb the winding stone stairs or head up in one of the funiculars, enjoy incredible views of the bay and German-style homes. The city tour will show you places such as Plaza de la Victoria, the Turri Clock and the Naval Academy. A highlight of this tour is visiting the home of Chile’s Nobel Prize-winning poet, Pablo Neruda (1904- 1973). Find a restaurant along the cobbled streets. Take the funicular down and then we’ll head just up the coast to Viña del Mar.

Day 3: Santiago/Patagonia
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Patagonia. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4, 5 and 6:Patagonia
A full day to explore Torres del Paine national park and surroundings. You may choose from the wide array of activities that are included, when staying at the hotel of your choice. Some of them are: trekking, biking, horseback riding, and vehicle based sightseeing excursions. Remember that these activities me be on a shared basis in a small group with other hotel guest.

Day 7: Patagonia/Santiago
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Santiago. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Santiago/Atacama
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Atacama. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Atacama.
Day 9-10: Atacama
A full day to explore the awe-inspiring Atacama Desert area. You may choose from an array of activities that are included at your chosen hotel. Alternatives include trekking, biking, horseback riding, and vehicle based sightseeing excursions to explore the area. Remember that these activities are on a shared basis in a small group with other guests of the hotel.
Overnight in Atacama.
Day 11: Wine Country
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Santiago. On arrival, drive to Colchagua Valley (approx. 3 hrs drive). On arrival in Colchagua Valley, check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: Wine Country
After breakfast , enjoy the day at one of the included activities offered by the hotel. Your stay includes several activities, such as a private tour & tasting at selected winery(ies), bicycle rides and native forest hiking as well as visits to other vineyards in the beautiful Colchagua Valley.
Overnight in Colchagua Valley.
Day 13: Wine Country/ Santiago
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board your flight to return home with happy memories.
