Arrive in Lima. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Lima.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the sightseeing. Visit the colonial center of the city. Here you can see the Spanish colonial architecture as well as some government buildings, including Plaza San Martin, Paseo de la República, Plaza Mayor, the Central Bank Museum* and the San Francisco Convent. Then we visit the modern neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores.
In the afternoon, we will bring you to the bus station to depart to the southern coastal town of Paracas.
In the evening, take a walk along the coast. Return to your hotel.
Overnight in Lima.
Bus ride: Appox. 4 ½ hours in a comfortable travel bus.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave to board a fully equipped speedboat departing from the Libertador Pier to the Ballestas Islands. Due to the great variety of marine wildlife the islands are also known as the “little Galapagos”. En route, our boat stops to observe the “The Chandelier”, an enigmatic figure that can only be seen from the sea. You will explore caves and rock formations that were carved by the sea and wind over time and will be able to observe sea lions, penguins, seagulls and a wide variety of marine fauna.
Then we take the bus to Nazca, a small town located at the famous and unique Nazca-Lines. Upon arrival, we will take you to your hotel and you will have time to relax.

Overnight in Lima.
After breakfast in the morning, we will take a ride to Palpa, a nearby outlook, from where we will have an impressive view over the gigantic Nazca-Lines. The Nazca-Lines are geoglyphs, which are drawn on a 500 km2 area in the desert plain. Due to their tremendous size the formation of the pictures of humans, monkeys, birds and whales, isn’t completely discovered. According to German mathematician Maria Reiche and anthropologist Paul Kosk, the Nazca-Lines show an astronomic calendar. In 1994, the Nazca-Lines became a World Heritage Site.
Afterwards, we will visit the Maria Reiche Museum. Reiche, a German mathematician, has dedicated almost all her life to the exploration and restoration of the Nazca-Lines.
In the early afternoon, we will pick you up and take you to the bus station, where you take the bus to Arequipa. At your arrival just before midnight, we will bring you to your hotel.
Optional: In the morning, you can start an amazing journey and unique experience with a 30 minutes’ flight over the Nazca Lines (upon request and not included).
Overnight in Arequipa.
After breakfast, we visit the “white city” of Arequipa. It is the second most important city in Peru, noted for its urban, cultural, social and economic development. The tour starts at the viewpoints of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara. Later we visit the historic city center declared an, “UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site” in 2000. Includes: The Santa Catalina Monastery, the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral and cloister of the Company.
The afternoon is at leisure and you will be able to walk around the charming city and eat in one of the tiny welcoming restaurants close to the main square.
Overnight in Arequipa.
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, you will embark on an amazing journey to Colca Canyon one of the deepest Canyons in the world! We will travel across snow-covered volcanoes, quaint Andean villages, finally arriving in the Colca Valley.
One of our stops will be the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, whose rugged terrain is home to vast herds of vicuñas, alpacas and llamas. Next, we will visit the Mirador de los Andes (Lookout Point of the Andes) in Patapampa. This lookout point, at 16,100 ft / 1408 m above sea level, offers spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the various volcanoes surrounding Arequipa, including the Hualca Hualca, the Sabancaya and the Ampato. After, you will head to the town of Chivay for a closer inspection of the impressive system of platforms and terraces built by the ancient Collagua and Cabana inhabitants.
After lunch, you will make your way to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be free to take advantage of the hotel’s amenities, enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings, and simply rest and rejuvenate for the next day.

Overnight in Colca Canyon.
After an early breakfast in the morning, we will head off to the Condor Cross Lookout Point. Which is an incredible vantage point where you will be able to look out across Colca Canyon, one of the world’s deepest canyons. If we get lucky, we will see the majestic Andean Condor in flight!.
After lunch, you will experience an awe-inspiring 6-hour trip through the unique landscapes of the high mountain plain. A few miles away, you will be able to see the grand Bosque de Piedras de Imata in the distance. You will then arrive in Lagunillas, which sits at 13,684 ft / 4170 m above sea level. Here you will observe numerous species of migratory and Andean birds. Among them, Andean flamingos and crakes. You will end your trip at the legendary Lake Titicaca.
Bus ride to Puno: Approx. 6 hours with stops
Overnight in Puno.
After breakfast, Today we will explore the world’s highest navigable lake Titcaca, and explore its unique and breathtaking islands.
We start by visiting the floating Islands of Uros. There are around 40 small islands made totally of totora, a natural reed that grows around the lake. The friendly island inhabitants will invite you to get to know their traditional lifestyle and customs.
Continuing our journey across the waters of the lake, we will arrive to Taquile Island, a quaint and picturesque place with a unique landscape due to the Incan terraces built around it. Here we will be able to learn ancestral weaving techniques from the locals…amazing! We will have lunch in Taquile before heading back to our hotel in the afternoon.
Overnight in Puno.
After breakfast, Today we will embark on the most scenic trip of the Peruvian Andes! On board a comfortable bus, we will pass different Andean villages, snowcapped mountains, and herds of Llamas. Some of our stops include: Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America; Racchi, ruins of a well-known Inca Temple to the God Wiracocha and La Raya Pass, which is the highest point of the Peruvian Altiplano. We will have lunch at a traditional Andean restaurant before we arrive to Cusco Tour duration: Approx. 10 hours with stops and lunch included.
Optionally you can book a ride in the impressive Titicaca Train (on request and not included in the price).
Overnight in Cusco.
After breakfast in the morning, leave for amazing city tour of Cusco, which was the Capital of the Inca Empire and one of the most historical cities in the Americas. You will begin your tour strolling through the main square, where you will be able to explore the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. Just a few blocks away, you will explore one of Cusco’s most impressive buildings, Qoricancha or The Temple of the Sun, whose interior walls were said to be covered in gold.
We will continue our tour visiting the Fortress of Sacsayhuamán, one of the most important military and ceremonial centers in Incan times, then we will visit three other important archeological sites: Qenko, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara. Optional: You can also participate a private walking tour from Sacsayhuaman through the oldtown (upon request and not included).
Overnight in Cusco.
After breakfast in the morning, Today you will experience a full-day guided excursion throughout the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
You will start this tour by visiting the traditional Pisac town & Ruins and its charming and quaint market, where a large handicraft fair is organized by locals craftsmen who exhibit and sell wide variety of fine crafts of various kinds: Woven goods, sweaters, Alpaca rugs, tapestry, sculpture, jewelry, etc. Pisac Ruins include Inca’s agricultural terraces on the steep hillside, which are still in use today. They enabled the production of surplus food, more than would normally be possible at altitudes as high as 11,000 feet.
For lunch, you will enjoy a traditional Peruvian - Andean cuisine at Tunupa Restaurant, conveniently located in a beautiful setting overlooking the Urubamba River.
In the afternoon, you will continue on to visit Ollantaytambo, an old Inca fortified village where we may observe some of the best examples of Inca architecture in the region. Surviving structures here include multiple walls and towers that were used to protect the citadel from possible invasions.
Later, you will board the train from the Ollantaytambo Station heading to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). This train journey is a spectacle in itself! You will be able to appreciate the Peru’s immense biodiversity, as you witness the landscape transition from Andean green fields to lush rainforest, descending alongside the Urubamba River. Optional: You can enjoy the train rides in the more comfortable Vistadome train with panoramic windows (upon request and not included)
Overnight in Cusco.
After breakfast at the hotel, take a 25-minute bus ride up to the spectacular site of Machu Picchu. You will explore this enigmatic sanctuary where your expert guide will lead you through the ruins, providing archaeological and historical information on key areas of interest, including The Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana (the Sun Dial) and the Sacred Plaza. You will appreciate the most amazing views from the top of the citadel! This is an opportunity to revel in the energy and atmosphere of one of the most significant and spectacular archaeological sites of the world, set high in the cloud forest.
You will also have the opportunity to see Llamas meandering around in their natural environment. After descending to Machu Picchu Pueblo, you will have some free time to wander through this picturesque town. In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo Station, where one of our representatives will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast at the hotel, To spend your time in the beautiful Cusco at your own discretion, this day is at your leisure.
Cusco is for many visitors the most beautiful city of the country and offers many opportunities for a nice day. In addition to the beautiful old town and the Inca ruins just a few minutes outside the city, you can also take a cooking class, stroll through the artists' district of "San Blas", visit one of the many museums or learn more about the astronomy of the Incas in the Planetarium in the evening. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Puerto Maldonado. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Later start amazing rainforest adventure by navigating a motorized canoe along the Madre de Dios River to your lodge. Here, you will enjoy a traditional lunch with organic ingredients from the region.
In the afternoon, you will take a walk through Concepcion Trails, an immersive tour of the jungle and learn about its particular flora and fauna as well as its uses for the native communities. At dusk, you will enjoy a Twilight River excursion via motorized canoe on the Madre de Dios River. You will be able to learn about its ecosystem, Amazonian creeks, and nocturnal animal behavior.

Overnight in Puerto Maldonado.
After breakfast at the hotel, Today get ready for a full on Amazon experience! You will start with a hike into the Tambopata National Reserve towards Lake Sandoval. Here you will understand why Madre de Dios is the biodiversity capital of Peru. You will navigate by a dugout canoe across this mirrorlike oxbow lake that is home to the endangered giant river otter, blue and yellow macaw, red howler monkey, black caiman, and one of the world’s biggest fresh water scaled fish, the paiche.
After lunch we will start the famous Canopy & Anaconda Walk. A 20-minute boat ride will take us to the interpretation center, where we will ascend a 98-foot (30-meters) tower and cross the 7 hanging bridges that connect the treetops more than 90 feet in the air! From here we will have the most breathtaking vistas and get the chance to watch white-throated toucans, woodpeckers, trogons, squirrel monkeys, and other beautiful, exotic animals. After descending, we will keep going along the 656 ft / 200 m wooden bridge over the swamps.
In the evening we can either take it easy or go on a Hidden Rainforest Excursion, where you will explore the Amazon rainforest that gives way to nocturnal animals with fascinating behavioral patterns and enhanced senses they have adapted to survive in this unique environment.

Overnight in Puerto Maldonado.
After breakfast, you will embark on a boat ride back to Puerto Maldonado, where you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Lima.
Upon arrival we will welcome you at the airport and bring you to your hotel where you can enjoy a last delicious dinner in one of the numerous renowned restaurants of the city.
Overnight in Lima.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport to board your flight to return home with happy memories.
